Deboshree, born in Kolkata, a self taught painter and a failed 9-6 employee, stays in Bangalore with her nucleus family.
The Forgotten Days...
She has completed her graduation in Commerce (Hons) from Kolkata University and obtained her PGD in HR&IR.
she worked in corporate houses, industries and also in placement agencies. She travelled, shifted and travelled again to pursue her corporate career and failed miserably every time in process of achieving success. she took ten long years to understand that without an agreement with her heart and soul, one cannot achieve anything. She started to understand that, her soul purpose wasn’t to work as a corporate member but to seek within, express herself in a different way.
Her Pursuit of happiness
Since childhood, school and college days, she always carried her drawing books, brushes and paints along with her, wherever she travelled. she never actually quit drawing. the set of box easel, her limited brushes, canvas pad and the paint palette were her prized possession. she always find her happiness while she was painting.
In process of finding her true purpose and happiness, She left her well salaried and promising corporate career to pursue the ultimate dream of being an artist. She did a 6 months course from Karnataka Chitrakala Parisath, Bangalore along with lots of other online and self studies. She is an avid reader too.
Free spirited Deboshree gets her inspirations from the mysteries of nature and cosmos. ranging from emotions to cosmic catastrophes. she loves to capture the mystical energies of the universe in her artwork, thus she convey her gratitude to mother nature for everything she experiences through her artwork.
a very passionate painter, who loves to experiment with different mediums. her signature style is to follow her heart. her strokes do not follow any rhythms or patterns.. they are spontaneous and playful.
She works with acrylics, Oil, watercolors, charcoal, oil pastels.
